The website is done, completed and uploaded.

There are two different sites which I have uploaded to.

The first one is from 50webs, the file sizes were limited, so only one download in this version.

The second one is from X10hosting, it offers very little restrictions however it would seem that the server quality is not great.

Both sites are exactly the same except the first one have 1 download file while the second one have only three.

the national folk festival site have a ridiculous amount of information, no wonder in the unit outline it said only 10 pages is expected for this site.

making more webpages, transferring information...

stupid formatting taking ages, notepad is such a lame way of making webpages...

After much mucking around, finally got a template happening, ideally I'd like to make the text area with a transparent background, but it's keep on having problem, now I can just add information and hopfully it'll work, hopefully...

The website I've chose to do is National Folk Festival, the official website here.

The website itself is done with lots of flash elements, the layout is simple but packed with information. Each page have very high amount of text and details.

My aim is produce a website that offers the essential information but the lay out will be very simple and easily navigated.

Soccernet website, the site itself is quite nicely designed, by comparing with other soccer news websites, this one is the best one by far, for details of the features I like I'll add in later when I find more stuff I like

Allhomes website, really well designed and set up, became successful very quickly. I'll add more details later I guess.

Week 1 and 2

So Web Design and Production unit, kinda looking forward to what I will learn. Just figured out how to use the unit's website. For a unit that's aimed at teaching you good web design practice, the unit website really confusing and frustrating.

Now gotta worry about the first assessment, find 5 websites I like and describe what similar characteristics I like about, sounds interesting, I'll see how I go.
